After Paleri Maanickyam Mammootty is again seen in a double role i the movie Drona 2012. The movie was released in 80 centres throughout. There was a talk about the title earlier which made that crew to change the title to Drona 2010 from Drona. Shaji Kailas, famous for his action flicks, has attempted on a different theme but the movie has not reached the expectation.
Drona 2012 is merely a story based on myth or superstition, if you believe in it. The story is about two wealthy families involved in fight for generations. One side always try to get good all the time but fails. The first half of the story deals with Mammooty as Kunjunni, who deals with ancestral buildings. He happens to find a house that interests him. But the house was a haunted one. In spite of it Kunjunni tries for it but it results in his death.
Then enters his elder brother Pattazhi Madhavan ( Mammootty), to take revenge for his brother’s death. He is a very powerful man, who chants sanskrit all the time, having ong hair and mustache. The spirit of Savithri ( Dhanya) has some grudge toward’s Pattazhi’s family that points to the destruction. Climax deals with the war between the two.
Kaniha, Navya Nair, Manoj K Jayan, Thilakan and others are seen in the cast. Kunjunni appears as a young and handsome, just the opposite to Pattazhi, who is always seen in a ‘Kaavi’. The beginning part gives a lot of expectations to the viewer. Navya is seen as Mammootty’s wife in the film.
Overall it can be said as a disappointing flick. Images are very good. Shaji Kailas was not successful in maintaining his trend this time. Mammootty has acted his role well. Technically the film is good. The flop comes in the story which gives an idea of lots of superstitions.

Jaggubhai Tamil Film Synopsis :
Jagannathan, (Sarath Kumar) fondly known as ‘Jaggubhai’. is an Indian Police Officer with sharp methods. His way of dealing the criminals strikes terror in the underground world. Tough is just an ordinary word to describe this upright, straight forward police officer.
Jaggubhai is sent to Australia on an important mission to deal with anti social elements there. In Australia, Jaggubai meets Meena (Srisha) and they both fall in love with each other. Jaggubai fails in his mission for which he came to Australia and the brief romance with Meena also ends abruptly. Jaggubai returns to India as a dejected officer failing in his official duty and in personal life.
But fate had something in store for him. Twenty years later he gets a call from Australia stating that Meena is dead and has left him a will. He reaches Australia and is shocked to know that the brief encounter with Meena had resulted in a daughter ‘Nikki’ (Shriya Saran), now a teenager. Jaggubai realises that has left behind his daughter and her wish that Jaggubhai should protect her.
Nikki thinks that he is mother’s friend and tries to act cranky. Threat comes in the form of some anti social elements who want to eliminate Nikki. These thugs were the same ones who had tricked Jaggubai some 20 years earlier. Now, it is Jaggubai’s duty to save his only daughter and settles old scores with the thugs.
He now meets his former colleague Mani (Goundamani). With his help he overcomes the crisis and eventually finds out why Meena left him and the reason for bringing him back into his daughter’s life.

This is perhaps India’s first genuine spoof (if you have not seen Hindi movies like Bollywood Calling), or at least South India’s first genuine spoof. Yes, it is a funny and ‘take a dig’ perspective at everything that has been stereotypical about Tamil cinema over the years. You would not need much elaboration as the trailers have already been making the rounds on TV.
Every keen observer and fan of Tamil cinema will be able to pick out scenes from their favorite movies, which have been recreated here with more than a touch of sarcasm that tickles your funny bone. If you have loved watching ‘Lollu Sabha’ over the years, then there is every chance that you are going to love this one too.
Quite appropriately the man playing the lead in Thamizh Padam is RJ Siva who has made a career out of making jibes at all kinds of things and it would be a walk in the park for him to do funny imitations of the most memorable (and also the most predictable) scenes in Tamil cinema through the years.

The most famous artist with this name is the German rapper Anis Ferchichi who was born on September 28, 1978 in Bonn. His rap is strongly influenced by American Gangsta Rap. He is also known as Sonny Black.
Early Life:
Bushido has a Tunisian father and a German mother. However, he was raised in Berlin by his mother and never got to know his father.
Musical Career:
In 2000 he began his musical career as a rapper. His first release was on the Frauenarzt-Tape with King Orgasmus for I Luv Money Records. Soon he released his first tape King Of Kingz. This led to him moving to a new label Aggro Berlin, where he worked with Sido, B-Tight, and Fler.
The album was later released on CD in 2003 as King Of Kingz (Digital Remastered) and in 2004 as the King of Kingz 2004 Edition with some remixes. In 2002 he released the legendary milestone underground-album Carlo Cokxxx Nutten under his pseudonym, Sonny Black (arguably in the same manner as Eminem), in which he worked with Fler also known as Frank White.
His first Solo-Album was released in 2003, which is called “Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline”. This album had a lot of good reviews and was titled the first real Gangster Rap album in Germany. It was an enormous success for what was still basically an underground release.

The Messner brothers, Reinhold and Günther, are the first to climb the Rupal face in 1970 to reach the peak of Nanga Parbat. On the way back, Günther has an accident, but Reinhold saves himself and finds himself accused of being responsible for his brother’s death. Joseph Vilsmaier directs the story with visual and musical pathos, briefly looks back at their childhood and youth, and finds an answer to every question. His melodrama, marked by fascinating mountains and exhausted faces, celebrates the fiasco as a triumph of human will that stops at nothing.
A film retelling mountaineer Reinhold Messner’s legendary ascent of Nanga Parbat, in which his younger brother was killed, has reignited a bitter mountaineering row and prompted fellow climbers to attack as “false” the version of events being portrayed on the screen.
A group of climbers who accompanied Messner, now 65, and his brother Günther on the 1970 expedition have criticised the makers of Nanga Parbat for telling only one side of the story – and have threatened legal action.
The film, by the director Josef Vilsmaier, is being advertised under the slogan “two brothers, one mountain, their fate” and promises to reconstruct the events when Günther disappeared after apparently following Reinhold down Nanga Parbat in Pakistan, the ninth highest mountain in the world and one of the most treacherous to climb.
From the start the film, much of which was shot on location, makes clear that it is telling the story “from the point of view of Reinhold Messner”.

Rocky Costanzo’s much anticipated coming-of-age film 11:11 is back in production after a seven year break with plans of a 2010 release
Huntington Beach, CA (PRWEB) March 17, 2009 — LifeLine Entertainment is proud to announce that they are back in production on a feature film they started seven years ago. “11:11″ has been a highly anticipated independent film since its original announcement in 2004. Writer/Director, Rocky Costanzo’s vision of a two-part coming-of-age drama will finally become a reality this month, as the cameras are currently rolling once again in its original setting of Huntington Beach, California. “It’s been a crazy journey,” says Costanzo about the film’s long process. “We weren’t sure if the film was ever going to see the light of day.”
From the beginning, 11:11 was supposed to be shot in two segments. Costanzo wanted two settings; summer and winter. The first act of the film was completed as planned in the summer of 2004. The second and third acts were slated for the winter of 2005. It never happened.
The film suffered a financial blow when investors backed out a few weeks before filming the second half. 11:11 was immediately put on hold while things got sorted out. The producers expected this to be a minor setback, however, weeks turned into months and months turned into years. During this period, the filmmakers continued making other films, including “Hallowed” (2005), “Almost Beautiful (2007), and “Amhurst” (2008), however nothing was happening with 11:11. Executive Producer, Roy Thomasson said; “We got so busy working on other films that we sort of put it on the back burner.” Thomasson admits to receiving hundreds of calls and emails regarding the status of 11:11 and not knowing what to tell them. “We’ve never had a film with this much interest. It’s amazing.”
Finally, sometime in December of 2008, Costanzo called a meeting with the producers to discuss 11:11. “It’s time to finish this thing.” Costanzo remarked. To make things fresh and exciting, Costanzo brought to the table a new outline for the film, which could be made with less money, along with a re-imagined storyline that would bring back the original actors from the 2004 shoot, who were then 11 years-old. The new storyline would catch up with them as older teenagers. In addition, there would be an opportunity to attach new talent. The setting of the film would remain in Costanzo’s home town of Huntington Beach, which is also where their production company, LifeLine Entertainment, is located. The original actors were interested, the script was underway and 11:11 was back in-development.

An idyllic island town is under attack by that most invasive of pests: zombies! Port Gamble is being overrun with braineaters, and the people seem powerless to stave them off. But wait, a rag tag band of rebels is trying to turn the tide and push the invading hoards of undead back. It sounds familiar, sure, but this time stereotypes are on parade (and parody) in a retake on the zombie thriller.
We have the full compliment of cinematic shorthand, including the closeted small town boy who has gone to the city and returns with his pushy boyfriend in tow; the angry, hard-working, heavy-accented, immigrant from a Muslim country who is overprotective of his beautiful daughter; the hippie peacenik environmentalist; the fire and brimstone reverend who hates everything you’d expect him to, and many more. ZMD has one kick ass pre-credit opening scene that had me completely psyched for the rest of the film. It boasts some impressive effects, particularly for a film with a slim budget. I don’t want to give away any of the juicy, gory scenes, but I will tell you that there are some glorious moments involving skin ripping, shooting, stabbing, and even one shocking and hilarious hit and run.
Instead of the regular cookie cutter characters you see in most horror films, ZMD features a diverse group of individuals that are actually interesting. The local restaurant is run by an Iranian man, who’s American born daughter Frida has returned home from Princeton.
Frida is conflicted with her role in the world, not only because of her father, who begs her to embrace her Iranian heritage, but also an air headed boyfriend who keeps calling her an Iraqi. In a hilarious conversation between Frida and her boyfriend, the phrases “There is NORWAY, you are getting in these panties” and “Kuwait a second” are uttered. Oh yes, he goes there. Then there is the gay couple; Tom and Lance, who have come to Port Gamble so that Tom can finally “come out” to his mother. The two deliver some of the film’s best lines. There is a mayor with serious old fashion attitudes, who’s closest acquaintance is the local preacher who delivers fire and brimstone sermons. In direct contrast to the mayor is the local female high school teacher who is running against him in the upcoming election. Finally there is the proudly right-wing father with an alcoholic wife, and an awkward drama student son. There are more than a few small-minded people in the town of Port Gamble. Many of the locals are suspicious of foreigners and fear homosexuals. Even the local news suggests terrorists for the cause of the zombie outbreak.
So needless to say, there is a crapload of material to work with. The gay couple, played by Doug Fahl and Cooper Hopkins are outstanding and shine in every scene they are in. Janette Armand is also excellent as Frida. Ali Hamedani who plays Frida’s father is perfect in his role, and is actually the father of the director. Russell Hodgkinson is delightfully amusing, and unlikable as the right-wing dad. Some of the acting from the more minor characters is iffy, but it doesn’t hurt the overall feel of the film. ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction is well-paced, high energy, gory, clever, and funny as hell. It entertained me from beginning to end. Highly Recommended!
